Queen Anne's Lace's Ram - Rich
This ram is a black gulmoget out of Leyland . He looks very nice at this point! He carries moorit from his mother and may carry spots from either of his parents. He is for sale. We’re keeping his father.
Oh he IS handsome! That makes me want to weaken my resolve not to add any new stock this year. I will have to keep an eye on how he matures this summer, is Leyland a half poll? Hester might be and if so her daughter might be too that I am retaining. If you are keeping his dad I might have to order me one of those NEXT year. :) Great looking lambs, congrats.
I just wanted to add, is bad when you look at a ram lamb and instantly think of his breeding group? Hester, her daugher, Olympia, Cotton Candy's moorit ewe... I think I need intervention!
Leyland is a half poll, yes. It's too early for me to say what kind of horns his sons will have. I know they're all nice! I wish some of them had been ewes, but everyone thinks that way!
