Its almost here!

My local fiber festival is next weekend and I am so excited about it I could just burst.  Working feverishly to finish handspinning some of our soft shetland wool from the sheep in our flock, washing a fleece so I have something to spin during the show and just all sorts of odd and sundry fun activities building up to the event.  I can't wait to see everyone and to eat the food and smell that intoxicating wooly smell that pervades the fiber festival grounds all weekend!

I will have the Majacraft line of products in my booth this year as well - and my Rose will be available for anyone who would like to try it out!

Hope to see you there!

Here are some of the things I'm working on in the last final dash to next weekend:

I already spun up the black parts of Rush - here is his white wool.  Every so often there is a little remnant of black that makes its way in, so should be an interesting skein.

Here is Rush, he has more black on the other side.

Grey wool still needs to be marked

Here is some fawn neck wool I've carded, this will probably make its way to a gradient yarn, or be turned into batts

Fawn neck wool on the carding table.

Weighing out my grey wool to make a nice gradient yarn - this will probably be ready for Hemlock

Here is the first bobbin of the grey gradient

Yarn to be washed and dried.  The black yarn is from Rush

Here is Ella's wool drying so I have something to spin at the festival
Hi Ella!
