Hurray! My friend and fellow sheep fancier sent me some photos of Susan as a lamb that she took during a visit to our farm soon after lambing. I am so happy to have these pictures of her, and as predicted...ADORABLE!!!

Whispering Pines Farm is home to the Johnson family and their flock of registered shetland sheep. We are members of the national shetland breeders association, flock #955.

Shetland Sheep are the smallest of the British sheep breeds. They are bred for their wool, which is very soft and fine, a delight for handspinners. Shetland Sheep are very hardy, and easy to care for. They are ideal for families with smallchildren, handspinners and breeders. They come in 11 colors and 30+ patterns. Don't need a lot of space, as they are small and compact.

Visits to our farm are always welcomed, we love to show off our animals and demonstrate how we use the wool in various craft applications. We have lambs and adult sheep available for sale all through the year. Email us at jen6265@gmail.com.
